Our local community is a quaint, diverse, and friendly community that supports our school. From local businesses, to parents who support teachers in the classrooms, we are very blessed to have an active community involved in all areas of education.
Our school is the hub of the community, which is utilised by many local groups including the Cycling Club, Chappy Challenge riders, local cricket competitions, and Local and Federal Elections. Our community members are also avid spotters of our resident koala and always look out for the interests of our children.
Our community is inclusive and friendly. Local publican Dave runs the Mount Alford Hotel and is always up for a chat. Scenic Rim Brewery recently opened in the Old Mount Alford General Store. The store has been beautifully restored and heralds back to a bygone era.
